Trade Secret Misappropriation Case Against VoiceSignal Dismissed

WOBURN, Mass., August 22, 2007VoiceSignal Technologies, Inc., a supplier of speech recognition technologies, today announced that Judge Saris, of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts dismissed all of the claims between ScanSoft and VoiceSignal that were pending in the three year old dispute between the parties.

VoiceSignal also disclosed that, prior to the dismissal, a final determination by the mutually agreed upon court-appointed neutral expert, Professor Dr.-Ing. Hermann Ney, Chair of Computer Science at RWTH Aachen University, found that there was no evidence that any of the individual defendants, Laurence S. Gillick, Manfred G. Grabherr, Robert Roth and Jonathan P. Yamron, had misappropriated any trade secrets.
